More cathedral windows fun. I like the slightly larger size. I also liked the rectangular windows, creating a sense of movement. This is also from the book Through the Window & Beyond by Lynne Edwards.
These were machine stitched down and the hand quilted as I folded back the windows. I used a bright pink sateen for the windows, with a lovely shine that makes them almost glow.
Next time I may have to play with the alternate block, the secret garden. That is where the "revealed" fabric is in the 4 petal shapes.
