Another orange peel block.  I loved this block so much I wanted to play with how the pattern evolves when you put several circles together.  This is the result.

I also challenged myself to stick with medium tones.  While I did change the value a bit from the circles to the red of the windows, to the background 4 patch, on the whole I kept it moderate so the fabrics blend together in thier own movement.  

I love how the circles and windows and squares all move in this pattern.  I am really tempted to make a orange peel quilt-as-you-go quilt sometime.  A very simple pattern that makes a very complex and beautiful texturized pattern the bigger it gets.
