This one is recreating a string block.  Strips of fabric sewn in thin strips on the diagonal.  27 fabrics later, and voila.

Once I made the quilt sandwich I chose a backing with a strong graphic.  I quilted along the lines of that graphic and easy peasy, one more block done!
