Block 55 of 368

I went back to somewhat traditional piecing for this block.  For now I am looking for somewhat unique patterns that are a challenge to interpret in 4 inches.  This is tonight's effort.

I chose focus fabrics for each center fabric.  For the general outline fabrics I use scraps so used a unique one for all four blocks but to add to continuity used fabrics with the same pattern.  Then chose a neutral and gold for the center.  After VERY careful paper piecing and sewing I made the quilt sandwich and went back to my current favorite of echo quilting.  I love the secondary designs created.
